Answers to the questions most often asked about Crop Schedule, Area Converter, and the Crop Planner Editor. Organised by topic.

Do I need an account to use Crop Schedule?

No. All three farm tools work without an account. Only modules such as Farm and SIPP require signing in.

Which schedules are available in the list?

The list holds official schedules such as Manual Tanaman Padi IADAPP and Jadual Rujukan Padi Tabur Terus Basah (MARDI + DOA), plus vendor schedules published through the Crop Planner Editor. Official schedules carry an Official badge.

Why is there no schedule for some crops?

The list depends on which schedules have been prepared or published for that crop. If your crop is missing, you can load your own schedule file with Load from Device or build one in the Crop Planner Editor.

Why do I get "Invalid schedule file or old format"?

That file is not in Planner v2.0 format. Make sure it comes from the Export JSON button of this tool and has not been edited by hand, and that it is not larger than 512 KB.

What does "Day -40" or a negative day mean?

Days are counted from the planting date. Day 0 is the planting or sowing day, and negative days are before planting. For example Day -40 means 40 days before planting, usually for land preparation.

Why is the plant date empty but day numbers still appear?

A schedule always has day numbers because it is a relative timeline. The Plant date field is only needed if you want the app to calculate the current day automatically on the By Day tab.

Why are there no activities on the day I picked?

That day genuinely has no activity in the schedule, or an activity is range-based and falls outside it. Try another day, or use the By Phase tab to browse by stage.

What do "In progress" and "Ends today" mean?

Both refer to range activities. In progress means the activity has started but has not finished, while Ends today means the selected day is its final day.

Why does the text under the day bar say "Schedule complete" or "25% passed"?

It shows where the selected day sits inside the whole schedule. When the entire schedule is in the past, the text reads Schedule complete.

Can I print this schedule?

Yes. Print Full Table produces the full schedule, ready to print or save as a PDF. On a phone the print view opens in a new tab so the wide table is easier to read.

Can I use my own schedule?

Yes. Prepare a .json file in Planner v2.0 format, then press Load from Device. If a draft already exists in the Crop Planner Editor, the app asks whether to replace it when you bring the schedule into the editor.

Which units are supported?

There are 15 units, including Hectare, Acre, Square Meter, Square Foot, A (Are), Rood, Rod, Pole, Perch, Chain, Depa, Jempa, Relong Kedah, Relong P.Pinang, and Keping Selangor.

Why do Relong Kedah and Relong P.Pinang differ?

They are two different local units with different values. Use the one that appears in your documents and dealings. If you are unsure, confirm with the land office or the buyer.

What does "3 relong + 2.062 penjuru" mean?

Penjuru is a fraction of a relong. That example means 3 full relong plus 2.062 penjuru. The breakdown is shown so it matches how area is commonly quoted in the field.

Is the value I typed saved?

No. The value only exists on screen. Only Saved Presets persist in the browser, and those store unit pairs, not values.

Can I save unit pairs I use often?

Yes. Open Saved Presets, give the pair a name, then press Save preset. You can later use, reorder, or delete the preset.

Can I print the conversion table?

Yes. Print Full Table produces every unit for the current value, ready to save as a PDF or pin up in the store.

Do I need to sign in to build a schedule?

No. You can build and export a schedule without an account. Signing in is only needed for other app features, not this editor.

Where is my draft stored?

The draft is stored in your browser (local storage), not on the server. The status line at the top of the editor shows the last save time.

Why did my draft disappear?

A draft is lost when browser data is cleared, when you use a browser on another device, or when you press Discard Draft. Export your schedule as JSON before closing important work.

How large can a schedule file be?

512 KB maximum. Anything larger is rejected.

What Plan Code format is accepted?

The code must use uppercase letters, digits, hyphens, or underscores, for example JADUAL-001. Plan Code and Schedule Name are both required before publishing.

Why does "Publish to Server" fail?

Three common causes:

• Plan Code or Schedule Name is empty.
• The API Key is wrong or has been revoked. Ask an AgroDex administrator for a new key.
• NEXT_PUBLIC_PLANS_API is not configured in the app environment.

Will other people see the schedule I publish?

Yes. Once published, the schedule can be selected by other users in the schedule list on the Crop Schedule page. Make sure the code and name are clear before publishing.

Can I edit an official schedule?

You can bring it into the editor through the Planner Editor link in the Schedule Info panel, but the change only lives as a local draft or as a new published code. The original official schedule is not modified.

Why do I see a warning about the planner draft when opening a calendar schedule?

Because the Crop Planner Editor already holds a local draft. The warning asks whether to replace that draft with the schedule from the calendar. Choose carefully: a replaced draft cannot be recovered.

Can I use products from AgroDex search inside an activity?

Yes. Set the product source to Search AgroDex, type at least two letters, and click a result. The product name and active ingredient are filled in automatically.

What does "Product role" mean?

It describes what the product does in that activity, for example Pest, Disease, Nutrition / Fertilizer, Growth / Booster, or Soil / Conditioner. The role helps other readers understand why the product is used.

How do I switch between BM and EN?

Use the language switch in the sidebar or on the landing page. The choice is stored in your browser.

How does the editor layout change between desktop and phone?

On a large screen, the editor and the preview sit side by side. On a phone they are separated by the Editor and Preview tabs, and the file buttons are grouped in the File menu.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. The schedule list and schedule files are loaded from AgroDex. Area Converter, however, works entirely in the browser and needs no connection.

Why does printing look different on a phone?

On a phone, Print Full Table opens a print view in a new tab so the wide table can be shown in landscape. Save it as a PDF from the browser print dialog.

Where do the official schedules come from?

Schedules marked Official are compiled from references such as the Manual Tanaman Padi IADAPP (KPKM), MARDI SOPs, and DOA Rice Check. The full reference list is inside the Schedule Info panel of each schedule.

Does a schedule replace the product label?

No. A schedule is a planning aid. Actual rates, doses, and intervals must follow the label of the product you use, along with advice from an agricultural officer.

Can I rely completely on these schedules for farm work?

They are a good reference, but field conditions differ. Adjust days and products to your situation, and verify products through the Pesticide Search & MOA module.

Where do I record work that was actually done?

Use the Farm module. There you can record activities, costs, inventory, and PHI, and a schedule from these tools can be imported into your plot.
